Welcome!

I've spent the last several years learning how to be the healthiest me. I know what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle and to commit to that lifestyle. I'm not afraid to ask hard questions and help you dig deeply enough to find your true inspirations.  I can help you attain your goals.

Teaching high school math, science, and psychology for twenty-five years taught me to be both motivator and counselor even in the face of fierce opposition. Being a rancher's wife taught me to trust in God for my every need, and being Mom and Gam taught me how to use both kindness and tough love to help our children and grandchildren reach their fullest potentials.

I can help you weed out the obstacles in your path to wellness and learn new strategies to cope with your everyday challenges.

I'd like to share a story with you to help you better understand my journey.  It's the story of Mary and Martha found in Luke 10:38-42.

Jesus went to visit a family in Bethany.  There were two sisters, Mary and Martha. While Mary sat at Jesus’ feet soaking in His goodness, Martha was "cumbered about with much serving". I can imagine Martha welcoming guests into her home, while at the same time, putting the finishing touches on dinner, setting the table, and refilling drinks. She was tripping all over herself.

She complained to Jesus.

“Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me.”

Instead of coming to Martha’s rescue, Jesus reprimanded her.

“Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

I was a Martha!

In my mind I could hear Jesus saying, “Pam, Pam, thou art cumbered about with much serving.”

I volunteered for every cause, but neglected to care for my own needs, both spiritually and physically. As my prayer and exercise times diminished, my weight soared, my energy level plunged, and my health plummeted. I gained fifty pounds and developed a perpetual cough.

It was time for a change.

Like Mary, I began seeking the good part.  I prayed more, studied more, and worried less. As I learned to fuel my body and my soul, the pounds began to melt, the spring returned to my step, and  I loved life again.

It feels so good to feel good, and I want to share that feeling with you.

I want to help you refresh your mind, revive your body, and renew your Spirit as you put God First in your life.
